As tropical storm Bonnie is visiting us we are getting alot of rain. But I welcome the rain as we need it. It seems that my yard at home loves the rain. With the rain also comes out the worst in drivers in South Florida. For some reason while most become more defensive drivers. They slow down and keep safe distances from other vehicles. And I think it’s only me but they seem to use their turn signals more during rain that when it is not raining! By the way in South Florida the use of turn signals is unheard of! Turn signals another blog topic…. Lets continue…
For some they decide to drive faster in the rain? They could care less of what the wet roads are like. I guess this is the time to conduct serious testing on your vehicle. The ones in the fast sport cars like the rain I guess because they can test the grip of their tires on wet roads! Most sport cars have these really flat wide tires that cost a fortune. So it makes sense to test them. Will they really push out water from under neath them as fast the manufacturer claims? Guess it’s better to trust the manufacture. Why? See Below!!
There are some folks that drive big 4×4 trucks that love the puddles that the rain seem to make! Yes they run through the standing water super fast cause they have to know how high their truck can splash the water! You have to love it!
So its all good I guess my yard is green…. for you drivers out there that want to play with your vehicles in the rain….. be careful, be mindful of others….
God Bless
