That saying is a saying that I heard ever since I was a kid. At that time it meant nothing to me. But today as my son starts High School the resounding meaning of that saying rings clear and true. I can remember not too long ago and to use another popular phrase “it’s feels like it was just yesterday that we brought him home” !!! Yes I remember it well. I remember putting him into the car seat and heading home. Me and my wife were so happy that we had this healthy baby boy. The blessing that God had given to us and entrusted us with his upbringing was also a scary task. Babies do not come with a manual!
I knew that we would still be in good hands though. Cause the grandparents were all over this baby! And they were going to tell us whether we liked it or not how to raise him!! LOL!!! And now almost 15 years later here he is starting high school. I know that there are still many lessons for us to teach him. There are still many bridges to cross. And with God’s help we will cross them.
My prayer for him would be that God grant him wisdom and place a circle of Angels around him to protect him as his journey into adulthood is starting. I thank God for the blessing of my son and I will always be there for him as my heavenly father has been here for me.
God bless you…. booboo….
