What battle you ask? The battle of losing weight! So I went to the doctors last week and total so far was 25 pounds! Yes!!! So there I am now considering all the food that I do eat. Watching and being more alert to what is beneficial to the body and what it can do without! Yes I know that there are many good foods and we should all recognize them as being good. But I have been learning that while they are good to eat, when done in excess they become bad for our body.
Yes cake is great and you can have a slice! But at times I have had more than one slice, and I am sure some of you as well. There are those who God have blessed with this super fast metabolism which keep them skinny even if they were to eat ten slices of cake! But I am not like that and I am sure many are not as well. So I have been watching what I eat and have been making healthier choices.
I do also fast and on those days I deal with the cravings of the body. But I put the body under submission so it will not control me! I am the captain of this body and must steer it to better choices. By the way if some of you are addicted to any type of food or drink you can break it with a fast! Food or drink should have no power over you.
If you are dieting keep it up, do not give up!
