A road less traveled!

When we moved into the house we were only 4 years into our marriage. Like all new couples buying a home is dream that we all want. A year or so later we were having a baby. She went into terrible pains one morning and we were not sure as to what was happening. So the trip a to the hospital was our next step. There we found out that she was pregnant and there was more news. She had really big fibroids which were so big that they advised us to have the baby aborted and then remove the fibroids and we could try again.

The easiest decision was to abort and take the easy road out. We chose the road less traveled. It was a road that we were unfamiliar with, but we knew that God had given us this baby and we needed to trust in Him to walk the road ahead. So at three months my wife was no bedridden and could no longer work. That in itself brought our finances into a time where we could not pay all the bills. Yes we went into heavy debts, and many collection agencies were calling us day and night.

So eight months later we welcomed a baby boy. Today that baby boy is eighteen and graduates today from high school. Was it worth to walk the road less traveled? You bet it was! I thank God for one of the greatest blessing anyone could ever want. God gave me a son and I became a father.

The road less traveled was one that many will not take. But you can do it, if your trust is in the Lord Jesus! Walk the road and know that he is with you and will not leave you!

God Bless,
