So you come into an area where you need to make changes! Changes that usually are for the better and will make some part of your life easier. Not all changes are good. We sometimes have to change the way we eat. When we do that it’s not fun at all. But in the long run your health will improve. We also make changes at work. New technology usually help you access more people, stream line work flows, help your sales, cut down on paper work, and so on. What happens when you run into people who want no change? Or they want the change their way? Your job gets harder and you must now deal with teaching those people why we need the change.
There is always one or two who will fight you in every step of that change. Yes they are all knowing, wisdom filled, I have all the answers, it has to be this way or else person at your job! You know what I mean you have them at your place too. Sometimes I observe these people and I am amazed that they are the ones that have the most problems in their department. They constantly will complain about whatever is around them. And when you finally implement any change, get ready they are the ones that will be out there speaking to anyone that will listen that your implementation has not worked.
So what will this do to you? Sometimes I myself find it hard to understand. But I have to realize that these people are not sane. They have issues at home, at work, in life!!! They seem to get their happiness from seeing others fail or point out failures to others. They themselves are the failure. They are the broken link in the chain, that gets cogged at every turn. So if you have some of these people working in your company tread lightly around them.
