So I went shopping yesterday. Went to a few places and it was very busy. I am a very big fan of Christmas but I am not a big fan of how people act when shopping during the Christmas season. As I think about it I realize that yes we are all in the same boat. We want to get what we want or need and get out. Atleast as a guy I think that way. I know what I want to get, I go to it, get it, and I am gone. There are some exceptions to that rule for me. Let say that I am looking for a gift for my wife or my sister. Now I know they love purses! So you would think well get them a nice purse and you are done! Wrong, Wrong, Wrong!!!!!
Everytime I get them a purse they are not gonna like it. I know why we dont have a gambling game called lets pick out a purse for a woman and see if she will like it! If we did have a game like that we would all play and win loads of money since you know that 90% of the time they are not ganna like it.
While shopping I ran into a couple of old friends and we were off to lunch. What a great time to just break bread together and laugh! Catch up on old times and hear about what are plans were for this Christmas. Then after lunch all of decided to hit another mall for more shopping! Truly that was the best part of shopping! Being with friends, and sharing time with them. That gift is one of the greatest gifts that almost all of us overlook. All and all it was a fun day and at the end of it I was tired and worn out.
If you are out shopping be courteous and do something nice for someone you do not know….
