The FCC to fine AT&T!

Now let’s see what could the FCC possibly fine AT&T about? Could it possibly be for not honoring their unlimited data usage to those like me who bought it when they first started selling it? When they advised that it was unlimited and there was no cap on the amount of data you could download and there was also no slowdown on the speed after any amount of gigabytes? Yes I signed up with the unlimited data and was very happy until one night I reached 5 gigs of data download. The the speed dried up really fast.

I placed a call that night and asked them what was going on? The service person advised me that as far as they knew there were no problems in the system at that moment. Of course had me reset my network services etc, etc, etc….. Then I was advised that after 5 gigs of data they would throttle the speed down! Well this would have been ok if I was advised when I got the contract! But it was not stated and there were no cell carries companies doing that when I signed up with AT&T.

So after speaking with several people at AT&T and getting nowhere, my last stop was the FCC. Yes although some say that complaining will not help, looks like it did! The FCC wants to fine them 100 million dollars. The FCC received many complaints regarding the practice that AT&T had been doing. They probably still are doing it!

The best part of all this is that AT&T is disputing it! I mean they got caught red handed and still are trying to back track. Does it surprise anybody? Nope!
