Since I thinned down on my guitars there is one that has never been in my stable, and I have always loved them, but I have never purchased one! I have been on the hunt for a Gibby 335 for a few weeks. And there are a lot of choices… I know that I will probably stick with one that has the 57 humbuckers as I tried the burstbuckers but I was not pleased with the sound. I love the 63 reissue with the block inlays. Loved the feel and the neck was pretty fast. But it came with burstbuckers.
So if I can find a 63 reissue with 57’s I may pop on that….also the Larry Carlton model seems to fit the bill as well. Only problem is that there are none in my area to play one! The 335’s in the local guitar shops are a limited few. I will continue the quest and when I do get it… there will be pics galore….
God Bless
